Particle Effects - Realistic Fire Part 1

Difficulty: Intermediate
Exercise 1: 16 mins
In this videotutorial you will learn how to make a realistic looking fire material and then apply it a particle effect to make a good looking fire. It is a common mis-conception that it takes a 3rd party plugin to make good looking fire but that is far from the truth.

Cell Shader Tutorial
Topic: Materials & Rendering
Difficulty: easy
Exercise 1: 10-20min
Exercise 2: TBA
Cell Shading takes a relatively complex 3d model and renders it as a 2D looking image that looks much like a cartoon. The Cell shader adds different levels of coloured shade and it also outlines the artwork of your 3d model. This can have a really nice effect especially when it is tweaked to perfection.
